The thing is, what is it? PC 133 or PC 266? It even could be PC 100 (after all the FSB is at 100mHz right now). Ya do not want to use PC 100 with a chip that has an FSB of 533mHz, you create a bottleneck.

Don't even think about running UT3 with that. You'll have 10fps or less. The same goes for the rest of your PC: keep it to Flash games and games that are 3-4 years old. SCCT will probably work ok-ish, on medium resolutions.

I've got a problem with my laptop
Recently, after leaving my laptop idle for a while (usually overnight or for several hours or some such), when I wake it up again, my cursor is gone. Invisible. Restarting my laptop makes the problem go away...until I leave my laptop idle for a few hours again. This isn't a matter of not being able to find the cursor, as I've set up my mouse options so that when I press Ctrl, it does the little cocentric circles around the cursor dealie. I'll press Ctrl, and it'll show the circles wherever the cursor should be. I can still use programs just fine, can highlight different buttons (eg. the minimize, maximize, close buttons on windows) when the mouse moves over them (still can't see the cursor, but can see the colors of the button change). Is this a virus or something? I am running Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 PS I just opened up Control Panel and all the icons are larger than they should be. This message has been edited. It is probably a bug due to the computer going into suspend mode of some sort as you leave it alone for a while.
All you have to do to fix it is install XP for the next year or so until Vista has been patched up some more. |
