Just want to let everyone know I haven't forgotten about this. I'm going to post my entry as soon as I finish it. Had something else in mind earlier, but unfortunately, the shading technique is much different and mroe tedious than I'm used to, so I don't think I can finish it on time.

However, I've got another entry I'm working on that will definitely be finished before the deadline. Hoping to finish it today, but I may be unrealistic in thinking so. Expect something very soon though. It's one of my favorite videogame characters. Hopefully Ubi won't mind that it's not from any of their games.

I'm a weird like that though. I focus too much on trying to be different. For example, I'm a huge Tomb Raider fan, but on that forum, I mainly represent Splinter Cell or other games I like, and I never have a TR avatar. A Tomb Raider avatar on a Tomb Raider forum? How original.

So yeah, this is kind of like that for me. I'm using another game character for the sake of being different. Might be shooting myself in the foot, but it's worth it.

Ok, I submitted mine. Not an Ubisoft character, but still fits category 2. Dante pwns, I've been itching to draw him anyway, so so once a competition arised, I took the excuse and did it.

Cool stuff

So I just crumbled up one of my drawings a few minutes ago out of total frustration.

It was a Ghost from Ghost Recon. He was a ghillie sniper in a crouched position, and I was using about three different pictures as references for his stance, and about two more pictures as references for his sniper rifle, and another two as references for his ghillie suit.

From all the different pictures, my judgment of his proportions were pretty much shot, and his stance was way out of balance. So, scratching that entry into the community category.

I still have an artistic representation of Splinter Cell that I'm working on, but I'm starting to get a little upset over that one too. It's not turning out the way I want. Thinking about crumbling it up and just starting over fresh with a new subject.

I'm considering drawing something for the new Prince of Persia, if I give up on Splinter Cell.

Only a few hours left of today and some of tomorrow to work on it, and my scanner of all things is broken so I have no idea how I'm going to get this on the Internet.

So, if I've ever been optimistic, hopefully I can start being that right now.
