I'm freaking out over here! I don't know how many people have heard about it, but basically it's the biggest gaming tournament EVER! Gamestop is hosting it all over the country for Super Smash Brothers Brawl, and I've registered. I'm going to compete in round 1, along with my brothers, tonight, and to put it lightly, I'm a nervous wreck.

Outside from church tournaments, this is my first real tournament I've ever competed in. I'm really nervous, and would absolutely be disgusted if I lost of my first opponent.

Just thought I'd let everyone know about what's going on. Whew, I can't wait!

ZOMG! This game is AMAZING! WAY better than Melee, I can't believe it!! It's a lot slower, but still better.

I didn't win the tournament lol. I lost to my first opponent; however, he was the winner of the tournament, so no complaints. He was Deedeedee and I was Pikachu. The reason why I lost is because items were on, because I was kicking his butt! The guy was so nervous that he cowered down, it was insane. He couldn't get ahold of me because I kept dodging all of his attacks, then I pounced on him with my down smash, and then got my lightening on him. I was SO close to taking him out, but he ran away from me, found an item, and just so happened to get one that was an instant KO and I was out. :\ It was crazy because other than that he only hit me once by throwing something wimpy on me, while I throwing him around like a rag doll. I didn't check our percentages, but I was at anywhere between 10% and 30% while he was well over 100%. I clobbered ther guy, but he got the item.

My brother progressed to the final round against him (he played as Bowser), and lost again because of items. He was kicking his butt, but the guy did his thing by running away, grabbing an item, and taking him out with it. Bleh, that made me sick. I was still proud of my brother for making it to the final round though, especially considering how many people were there. It was so funny because people were bowing down to him. LOL! Someone even asked if he was Gimpy Fish (the world's best smash brothers brawl player).

Still had an incredible time though just being able to play the game. I'm speechless by it, just wow!

It was crazy awesome, the place was so full that no one was allowed inside except for the people playing their round (wasn't enough room in the store), then they had to wait outside until their turn again. Everyone was watching through the windows cheering like crazy (everyone cheered for me when I went up too ). It was sweet! I definitely want to enter more tournaments as they come along. Maybe I'll find one that turns items off, because that is just rediculous.

The winner got to advance to round 2, district finals. This is a nation wide tournament. The ultimate winner gets an LCD tv, $5,000, a wii, huge game library, etc.

And to think I was kicking the winner of the tournament's tail... He didn't know what to do, he was bent down shaking with nervousness after I got ahold of him. ROFL! Sucks that there were noob items, because if it wasn't for that, he was sooooo dead!

After he knocked me out I was like, 'You got it dude, good job." and he had this expression on his face:

I tell you though, that was a huge adrenaline rush. You can't hear the crowd super clear, since they are outside watching through a window; however, I could still hear them screaming like wild men when I was taking him out. It was sweet! Really proud of my older bro for making it to the final match though. Again, he had it won too if it wasn't for items. Heck, he's a lot better than me even, and the biggest crowd pleaser there. Everyone was astonished by him.
