Well, guys I am finally going to get this shoulder of mine fixed on Friday. The past couple of days I have been going back and forth to the DR. doing Xrays and an MRI.

I saw the DR. this morning and he told me the arthritis in my shoulder has caused bone spurs on my shoulder joint and that using a cortizone shot would only help temporarily. I know I needed this done.

So, Friday I will be having this shoulder surgergy to correct my shoulder and I can at least get back to 100%. wish me luck.

Good luck, Mac! We'll all hold a big celebration in your honor on Saturday, provided the surgeons don't cut your arm off. What do you like on your 360? Lemme guess, some Call of Duty 4 garnished with a lot of win?

Surgery will be a peice of cake, at least it will be on your end. Wink
I've had surgery before (doctors shoved a cord cam up where the sun don't shine to take a gander at my kidneys, and let me tell you it hurt when I woke back up). But this stuff sounds a little easier, and its thankfully going to happen in a less sensitive area. You should be fine, big guy. Big Grin

An upcoming novel by me.
Thanks Melonie for the sig!

That was, as they say, a little too much information there Savior. Smile Mac, you should be ok, assuming they're doing something along the lines of arthroscopic surgery on you. If it's a more invasive surgery they may have to immobilize the shoulder for a bit, which would be a huge pain in the ass. Good luck.

Thanks everyone. The biggest thing is I have never been under. I have never had a surgical procedure done.

This should be a pieace of cake. I would just imagine I will be on some pain killers for a couple of days. Thank god it is the week-end so I can rest up.

It will be May until I can actually lift weights again.

The first one is nasty looking, the second not so bad.

At least you'll have a badass scar to get all the chicks with.

Im surprised you can even type, most people on painkillers dont have the cognitive capability to get off the couch.

That means your feeling better, which is awesome. Nice to have you back healthy (mostly).

Actually that is the same picture just different angles.

yeah the first couple of days I did not do anything.

I could have stayed out this week but just decided it would be better for me to hop back on the horse so to speak.

Rehab is painful however.

Yes we women will make your life hell as much as we can. Smile LOL And you will let us because we are smaller than you. Big guys like Mac for some reason always afraid to even talk down to a small woman like that. Dunno why.
