So that's what was going on. I was a kid when I first watched 2001: A Space Odyssey and didn't really get the story very well. I know I remember enjoying it...a lot. I'll have to watch it again.

I was always a fan of The Joker more than Batman. I dont think I ever saw a actor get into their role so much as what I saw 1:30 am yesterday. He kept me awake watching this movie just to see what hes gonna do next ever since his pencil trick at the beginning. The only person that laughs falling to their death...The Joker.

Well... didnt totally spoil because you dont exactly know whats going to happen...take it more like as a hint at something instead of a spoiler.

The only reason why I give it that instead of a 9/10 is it message movie even though the movie is aimed at families. I just do not think that youngsters will get the message and adults wont respond to it even though they might get it.

Still, it's an enjoyable movie and worth seeing, even for the love story.

I've always loved the Joker more than any other villain purely because of motive, that's what makes a villain truly sinister. First time I like Heath Ledger's acting and I must say it was phenominal. Definitely buying the dvd.

Some of the lines could've been written better, and there were a few real-world inconsistencies (chalk body-outlines, civilians walking through a crime scene), but it was enjoyable enough.

ledger gave a great performance, but definitely NOT oscar worthy.
