the objective of statistics is to identify
a regression, a trend, a POSSIBLE correlation, between two relations that may or not be related. calculus objecive varies on subject matter. the use of calculus is prefered in statistics because you can create formulas for the statistical problem otherwise you would need to memorize 100-300 formulas. Especially when you are dealing with biomedical engineering problems and genetic laboratory results. |
