topic. what do u guys think the best shooter for the ps2 is. i have a ps2 and wanna keep myself entertained untill getting an xbox 360 or ps3

Other than that, if you dont wanna wait. Get Killzone, I loved that game. Timesplitters Future Perfect if you don't like Killzone.

It's not really good, it's not really bad. It's an enjoyable game.

If your looking for massive replay value, go get Timesplitters: Future perfect. That is REALLY cool.

i was looking at Brothers in Arms earned in blood or road to hill 30. are those good? i like the idea of commands

Killzone is a wicked game, BLACK looks set to be an awesome game too, and the TimeSplitters series is dang near perfect

if you are talking about all shooters and not just FPS then i suggest socom3...but only ifyou have online for your ps2 and a mic.

DON'T get the PS2 versions of Brothers in Arms. They're compareable to the PS2 and GameCube versions of Ghost Recon 2: just plain awful. A compelte dearth of polish. the graphics are awful, and the framerate chugs constantly.

yea i have online and mike. im fully equiped. i was really thinkin brothers in arms would be fun. i played it at circuit city and it was totaly auwsome. im really undecided. time splitters looks fun. the graphics are ok.socom looks really cool too. i played that over at my friends house. ill see if i get any more oppinions.

If Resident Evil 4 counts, get it. It's one of the best games of all time.

yeah RE4 is amazing. just bought it after renting it a few months ago. get black when it comes out this month. im waiting to buy it used at EB games 'cause i get 10% off used stuff there.(some "Edge" card i got when i bought RE4)

RE4 was stupidly amazing. I expected alot before buying it, but it went far beyond it.

This game kept me busy for weeks.. Months. The graphics were amazing to see back then, eye-candy stuff. From previous RE experiences I did expect to see more puzzles. As it started to feel repetetive after a while, shooting constantly. But it never really bothered me, I loved shooting those ugly zombies, or whatever they were.

I got a brief case of dyslexia when I read that first sentence .. thought it read "RE4 was amazingly stupid," so the rest of the post didn't really make much sense at first
