Just upload the image you wish to use to a hosting site, such as photobucket, or imageshack, then follow the instructions given in this thread:- Signatures, Avatar & Image Posting Guidelines

I'm glad to see you figured out what you need to do to get an image avatar, sadly though the image you're currently using exceeds the forum permitted size.

Although the forum does resize the image so once loaded it does show in the right size it takes a great deal of extra loading time to do this which results in added load times for many viewing the forums, hence the limits we have in place.

I think you can resize the image in most free image software programs but if you're having problems doing so feel free to post and hopefully we can help

As a side note, I have left the image in place for now to give you the chance to resize it but if thats not done we will have to remove it so if you realise its gone you know why

thanx for the advice umm im pretty stupid when it comes to image editing. if i could get some help with the resizing, i would really appreaciate it
