I use vanilla LOMAC (not FC) and when I patch it to v1.02 it doesn't work. Like, when I install it and leave it unpatched (v1.01) it runs fine, but when I apply the v1.02 patch it starts up then minimizes. Not only does it minimize, but it won't unminimize. Anybody know why? A fix would be greatly appreciated.

From what you have said, I assume you are one of the few folks whose vanilla Lockon disk is already at v1.01? Only the last productions run were made like this, all the rest were v1.00 disks.

Are you 100% sure you have got the correct v1.01->v1.02 patch? Your problem might be that you are using the v1.00->v1.02 patch. Here is a link to one site that has the v1.01->v1.02 patch.

Afraid thats the only thing I can think of, unless your patch download was corrupted in some way. Unless it is something screwy with screen resolution? Check that the settings in graphics.cfg match whatever your screen resolution is in Windows (eg 8000x600 or 1024x768 etc).

I'm certain I'm downloading the right patch. I downloaded the patch from ubi.com. I'll try and patch it from the link you gave. I'll let you know what the results are. Thanks for the help.

EDIT/RESULTS: The website you listed would not let me download the patch because of some membership issue. It turns out there was an issue in the graphics.cfg (like you suggested there might be). I changed it to my screen resolution and now it runs perfectly!

I think CombatAce requires you to register? I guess I must've years ago. Worth it IMHO, they have some of the older, more hard to find stuff and Ive never got any spam from them due to registering.
