I think you have to have administrative privileges and run it in XP compatibility mode.
I'm a PC gamer. Any comments I make that don't specifically state a platform you can bet I'm referring to PC. 3Sqn Forums All the cool LOMAC stuff |

I run it on a 64x Vista system and it works now.
First it didn't run well together with my Nvidia drivers, but since they are at version 100.64 (now 100.65) it is running well. You have to run the .exe file as an administrator (But that won't be to much of a problem) and I run it in Windows 2000 mode. I did had problems with the patched LO-MAC unther WINXP mode. Don't know how it runs with the new Nvidia drivers though! Now if only Thrustmaster comes with support for X64 systems I will be happy! |

With the exception of 3d sound (the sound accelleration is increased in Dx10 and most devices are incompatible to a certain extent) it runs perfectly on Vista. Matter of fact I have a pretty big performance increase swapping from xp to vista...bout the only thing I can say bout vista thats good ATM.
I get nothing but smooth gameplay on my Acer Mobile Aspire 9300 1.6ghz Turion 64bit X2 core on 2048mbs pc2-5400 ram and geforce go7300 128mb...with the exception of water on high and visibility low and shadows off cuz the drivers for nvidia suck right now. If you intend on eating lead paint chips, bring salsa. |
