Every other available missile evasion technique tells me I have to use 1.1...which leaves me the above noted as the only way to evade a missile. Call me new but I swear there are more ways to evade a missile than breaking left/right and diving to the ground. Am I missing a large portion of this game because of the patches? Kind of sucks the only way training tells me to evade a missile is break left/right and dive to the ground...
I've been through all of the training tracks but on about three of them it tells me to use version 1.1 and that they are not compatible with version 1.12. I can still run the tracks but I'm wondering if the maneuvers are completly obsolete because of the patches? I know most of the patches after 1.1 altered the missiles behaviour so I'm curious if those tactics still work or am I wasting time.
Aside from that TACview is awesome and is letting me see each of my engagements in ways that a trackfile simply will not allow. I am now understanding where I am going wrong.
