How can I avoid the Su-27,-33,and Mig-29 A2A radars in the A-10? In multiplayer im always getting shot down by enemy aircraft (mostly due to my teammates not willing to fly escort), but I've tried that beaming maneuver, and it works, but the experienced guys know how to get around it. I've also tried, going low (literally on 10-20 feet off the ground) and using chaff, flare, and ECM. Even though all these methods work to delay the enemy from locking me up, it wont keep them from locking up and eventually shooting me down.

As far as Multiplayer- make sure you get on comms- even if you don't always see others there. You're still pretty much toast (more often than not)if you have no one to cover you. Best you can do is stay low and use the terrain wherever possible. If a spike comes up- do your best to stay off of his nose. Try to get the RWR contact on your wingtips- this is maximizing your chances that he cannot see you due to his scan cone limits.

DO NOT use your jammers enroute.

I repeat.

DO NOT use your jammers enroute.

Make sure you know where it is you need to fly to, and plan a route to get there before you take off. If there are nothing but fighters opposing you, and your side is not working as a team (it happens) you might want to give up the ground attack for the moment.

If there is a Airborne A-50 or an EWR- you are not likely to make it unless those fighters take pity upon you, and let you go.

I already know not to use jammer enroute. using a jammer enroute is like being in a dark room, with a few other people trying to find you, and you have a lit flashlight.

I shot down an enemy Su-25T the other day, and immediately felt like a prick. I wish there were more coordinated multiplayer games with escorts and AtG missions the most important ones.

Maybe we should have a weekly 20 vs. 20 balanced multiplayer match with a set number of A/G flights and A/A flights and signups here in the forum?

There are a few ppl online that shoot down unescorted a2g that dont have any other fighters overhead. Its unsportsmanlike conduct like that that make me fly alone. I wont point names, they know who they are.

Back to the topic, you use that RWR TEWS scope. The first outer ring you see is the danger detection limit. If its outside this ring, you havent been locked up nor can they fire at you. At the ring is the max detection range and they can have a firing solution up. Anything inside that ring they can kill you.
