Hello all!

Maybe I am doing something wrong. Can someone tell me how to correctly tell what my airspeed is I see one speed on the HUD and another speed on the outside view at the bottom of the screen. This makes it VERY difficult to land and just to fly in general. Thanks in advance for your help.

The HUD is what you need to go by.

To perhaps expand a bit on Hitman's reply...You use the airspeed shown on the HUD because it is the Indicated Air Speed (IAS). IAS determines how your aircraft responds to control inputs. Whether you are at 20 feet or 20,000 feet, your aircraft will respond in roughly the same manner for a given IAS.

The external view is showing True Air Speed (TAS)--some say it's actually showing Ground Speed. Whichever it is, whether TAS or GS, your aircraft will behave differently at 20 vs 20,000 feet with a TAS or GS of 450 knots.
