I'm in the process of moving from my pc to a laptop for playing LockOn. All of you people out there who own Saitek controllers know how much of a pain in the rear end it is to make the perfect profile. At first I thaught i'd have to re-programme my stick from scratch but then I had the idea of just sticking the .dat file onto a USB and just transferring it over, but no, that wont work, because my laptops got vista and my pc had xp.

Anyone know what to do in order to make it compatable on vista. Running it normally just makes the profiler editor become unstable and it crashes.

Find your keyboard and mouse settings on your desktop and transfer them over. As far as using .dat files on vista, you cant. You cant convert old .dat files to .pr0 files yet...that I know of. Youll have to do it from scratch.
