Howdy, am using X52 and trying to play LOMAC. It is impossible to get a correct pitch using my X52 because it just appears to be tooo sensitive. Planes goes up/down too fast making it impossible to make a smooth pitch.

Any help will be appreciated.
Thank You

Your stick is not "too sensitive" Your problem lies within the sim input parameters. There are adjustments in the option section that you can make to smooth out your pitch and roll control.

On page 2 of this forum there is a post titled "takeoff trouble" where I answered a guys problem with his rudder control and I also included the method of setting pitch and roll sensitivity. You would do well to read the entire post but for simplicity I will quote the pitch and roll control section -----

Quote---

While you are there ---to enhance your pitch and roll control reset the sliders for them also.

Single click on Pitch on the left side and set the sliders under the graph as follows --- shift slider to 60, D-zone slider to 10 and curv slider to 50.

Then go back and highlight Roll. set the shift slider to 60, D-zone slider to 10 and curv to 50.

Click on Thrust and set the shift slider to 50 and the other two sliders to zero.

Quite a complicated set of steps but necessary if you want good control of your aircraft.

If you still have problems after all this then go to your stick profiler and click on control panel, Then follow the calibration procedures.

Sometimes I get the "blue screen of death" and when I do it defaults all these settings and graphs and I have to go in and reset them.

Print this out and follow it to the letter
---------

This describes the graph settings in the input section of the options menu. If the graph lines are to steep you will have to much stick sensitivity and problems controlling the planes.

As I said read the Takeoff Trouble post on page 2.

Now --with that all said and done --you must understand that with the best sensitivity settings you will still have to trim the nose of the aircraft almost constantly if you change speeds. In a dive you will gain speed and this increases the lift and causes the planes nose to rise. Use trim to get it back into control. And clinbing is just the reverse --use your trim again.

Adjusting your throttle does the same thing. The sim is designed that way to better duplicate real life control of the plane.

Trim --trim and more trim to maintain steady control. This is entirely different and seperate from pitch and roll sensitivity.
