these are my specs for my pc!

A8NSLI - Athlon X2/Athlon FX/Athlon 64, Socket 939, nForce4 SLI, ATX, 4GB DDR, 1GHz Bus.

AMD Athlon 64 FX-57 single core 2,8GHZ

2gb of ram

nvidia 7800 gtx graphic card

I'd start with the CPU, Then go to 4 Gb of the fastest RAM your MB supports. I am not familiar with Nvidia products, but if your GPU hails from the same timeframe as your CPU- It's falling behind..

All easier said than done. There was a time when AMD & Intel were truly neck & neck- but Intel has been eating their lunch for years now.

What sort of game-play graphics do you use??

it runs find,but i just wanted to get an opinion on my pc. when i play dcs on high it slows a bit and i lose fram rates,but in low it run like a dream,but the details are crap. 32 fraps in high and medium 45 fraps and low 58 to 62 fraps. would more ram help? my pc was high end on 04 and 05
