I started playing LOMAC today for the first time and so far I've just been doing the training missions. One thing I noticed is that, if you don't have a joystick (like myself), you have to use the keyboard. I've played a few other games with jets in them (not simulators though) and I always use the mouse and keyboard at the same time when flying. I also noticed that the cockpit look wasn't very user friendly.
So my 2 questions are: is it possible to fly, and look around in the cockpit, using the mouse?
I had a look for about 20 minutes and found nothing that really helped. Most posts asked about mouse-look in the cockpit. I'm not too worried about that anymore since I can just press F2 to look at enemies around me. I did find 1 semi-useful post about mouse flight but he didn't explain well enough for a noob to understand. Please help me out mate
I'm not trying to figure out how to use mouselook in the cockpit anymore, as I stated above had you read the post, because I found out that you then won't be able to fly using your mouse. Right now I'm ONLY trying to figure out how to fly using the mouse
Good luck with flying with the mouse. I tried it for about 5 mins when I first got Lockon. It was just a nightmare. Far better to spend a little money and get a joystick, even a cheap one. I just cant imagine flying without one.....
