Hello.
I did instal Lock on on win 7 and game always crash,sometimes during the mission or on the end of the mission.Sometimes picture block,freeze.I did instal win XP on the disk partition 2 and instal Lock on,same thing.Sometimes it reports en problem with c++, or simply close the game.
Is there an patch wich i shud instal to fix this?

Getting yourself up to the latest version v 1.12b is the best answer. LIke the page says- that involves purchasing the Flaming cliffs add on (this is version 1.1) and then patching (for free) up to version 1.12b from there.


The original LOMAC 1.0 crashed all the time. I'm guessing that this is the version you are running now. Modman is not a patch or anything- it doesn't FIX things. It installs mods and tunes settings. It is important that you only install applications that are compatible with your version of LOMAC.

I doubt that the latest Modman will operate under an old version of LOMAC. It could very well cause crashes.

I did install patch 1.12b,but had problem with it too.Sometimes when i thry to turn left or right or down control become stuck and plane starts to roll and goes down.I fly by the keyboard,so joystick is not the problem.With 1.12b patch MiG 29 engines always must bee on 100% or you cant make a turn.Keyboard become very,very sensitive.
I would like to thry something beatvine 1.0 and 1.12b.Maby game wont crash,and controls remain "resinible".

Heh.. No- there's nothing wrong with the game. The plane is has one of several auto pilot modes activated. This is typical when air starting or taking cotntrol during a track playback. This is not some console game, man. If you think you're going to just hop in a plane and turn into Maverick overnight- you are in for a shock.

I agree with that.This game just looks simple.
But abouth crashing the plane.I was not in an sharp manuver or turning.I was flying straith and leveled,and wanted just litle bit to go left to get back on the course,and i just tuched the arrow buton,just tuched.Plane reacton was very agresive.It was impossible to get him back in horizontal or straith flight.According to my opinion,that is not realistic.Simple bank wings for 5 degrese,with out using eny other control shud not couse losing control and crashing th plane.It happends in all directions,but not always.Sometimes I am duing manuvers,jump all over the place,nothing.Sometimes just touch the button in horizontal and leveled flight,and game over.

AS has been noted countless times before- flying this on a keyboard is a total waste of time.

Not many people are going to spend time trying to help anyone that cannot take this seriously enough to buy even a $20 stick to start with.

I had joystick,some kind expencive model,80 Euros.I bought it for en flight simulation,and i had same problems flying like with keyboard.People on the forum said game is bad.
At this moment i have no joystick,but I will by one if this game impres me.I dont want to by jostick to colect dust in the corner.I want to be shure it is realy needed.In my country it is not easy to get that 20 USD,that is all day work.Pay for 30 days is 300-500 USD.Beside that,I work all day and have no much time to investigate all game possibilites,so your help is PURE GOLD.I am veru greatfull for that.
Before this game,i was playing Israeli air force,USAF,Flanker 2.0 and i was sucesful with keyboard

I know.It is almost impossibile to shut something with gun with out joystick.I am going to by one.Logitec has nice joysticks.I hope when i bank plane 5 degrese with joystick,plane wont continue with full rolling and crash.
