Well this is the first time anything happened
to my joystick but this is what happened. - I was flying a mission,BTW the joystick had been woking perfectly before and I have never had a problom with it, but this time it just was rolling right too slow so I went to the Options Menu then to the TEST thing, tested it and this is what was happening. you know there's this cross centered on a dot in the square, well it was centered perfectly and it moves up, down and right perfectly bet when i moved the Joystick left it wasn't reaching the limit and then it started to shiver and when i centered the Joystick it was too sensative so I Calabirated it at the Control Panel and I had the same problem. by the way its an 8 Button 2 Axis USB Joystick and thats all I know about it Thanks in advance ________________________________________________ At last i have my account back after one year of system error and foxtrot_606 |

Well not being familiar with your stick- I suppose if you have reinstalled the stick,(taking care to completely remove the drivers) and attempted to calibrate it in Window's control panel with no change, the odds are higher that it is physically broken.

Well i've just bought it so it cant be physically broken, and how do you remove all the drivers? or even how do you uninstall the joystick when it isn't in the programs list in the first place
by the way, as you can see, I don't THAT much about computers ________________________________________________ At last i have my account back after one year of system error and foxtrot_606 |

If you haven't already, try this. Without LockOn running, unplug the stick and plug it back in. Rich |

Well yes- it could be. But let's not beat the Best Buy salesperson to death with it yet. Try what Ironhand said. By the way- if you unplug this stick- make sure you plug it back in where you installed it. Windows apparently does not like USB devices to be switched about. If you go to reinstall it- remove the device in Device manager. (my computer/right-click/device mgr. Then remove it in windows explorer- (right click on start/explore/program files) Then reinstall -following the instructions- which means DON'T PLUG IT IN UNTIL THEY TELL YOU TO- Typically you install the disk (drivers first) and then plug it in. This will execute the "new hardware wizard" automatically. |

i tried that with the game running too. BTW, i had been playing falnker2.5 for about a month before and it was working perfectly. so maybe its something to do with the sudden change from flanker to lock on. oh and the joystck didn't come with a disk. a have beenplaying with the same one or type exactly for about a year and i never istalled it, all i do is plug it in and play ________________________________________________ At last i have my account back after one year of system error and foxtrot_606 |

OK last thing- is this doing the same thing in another game? If it is- NOW you can go beat the salesguy with it.
If not, then you need to redo your axis assignments from within LOMAC's options\input menu. Umm windows might not have a complete set of drivers for that. You might want to try to find some software for it on the manufacturer's site. |
