Finally I know something about Loman...now is ModMan, which can be downloaded in the checksix website.
I downloaded the 5.0.0.1.2 and 6.3.0.1 version, and installed (not at the same time),
but failed!
They can be installed, but when I double click the program to run it, it shut down immediately,
and shows "no responds" message.(in chinese,I am in Taiwan)

What's going on?
The 6.3.0.1 version is released on January 2008 , and should work well in vista, isn't it?

My LOMAC version is 1.02, and I never intall mods or patches..Help! I am so wondering the magic mods designed for LOMAC.
(After I see so many movie in youtube website)

I would find out if ModMan 6.3.0.1 works for lockon 1.02 because it will install on vista and function correctly. You WILL have to run it as administrator if you want to change any in-game values using modman.

I have disabled the administrator checking in the control panel when I install vista,
so I think that shouldn't be the reason ...

Help! Help!

You might be SOL if you cant find LOMAN online...I think this was the lastest version to support 1.02 and certainly doesnt work on Vista very well if at all. You still do have to run these programs as administrator from the compatibility tab on vista. Its a quirk but when they finally squash some bugs...

Here is the description of that program:

Mod Manager 6.3.0.1 - January 8, 2008 (Aka Loman)
skypat.checksix@orange.fr - http://www.checksix-fr.com
Support forum : http://www.checksix-forums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=346

Description
------------
With MOD MANAGER window, this utility MANAGE mods/addons installation automatically by ONLY ONE CLICK
With MOD MAKER window, this utility PACKAGE yours mods/addons in order to make it MODMAN compliant
With TEXTURE BROWSER, this utility browse cat files (like .cdds, .gtl, .gtr file) and extract/replace textures

Language
--------
NATIVE LANGUAGE for this utility is ENGLISH
so selecting another language in main menu may corrupt interface (translation too long etc..etc..)
the file used for translation is /required/traduction.txt (you can modify it then send it me)

Japanese and Chinese are not supported, i didn't find any fix to make it work (Sorry for that)
the only CLUE is to select 'English language' in your Windows OS

=================

DOES IT MEAN: ModMan can't work in the Japanese and Chinese version windows?
But no matter which version of OS, the windows always can show ENGLISH words, doesn't it??

It means Skypat can only speak so many languages.

LOMAN is 1.02 friendly but not vista friendly. MODMAN is vista friendly, but only for FC. Youll have to install your mods by hand unfortunately.

Ha!! I finally find the reason for it and how to disolve.
It's just because ModMan doesn't support WINDOWS in Chinese version.
What I have to do is change the file "traduction" into any other name that I don't have to change the language setting in WINDOWS.

Strangely, ModMan 6.3.0.1 works fine in my computer which's LOMAC's version is 1.02.
I installed one skin for su-27 and work fine.

Can I ask another question here?
If I install some mods by ModMan, can I play with other men via Internet as a server or client?
Will it make other people's system or mine crash?

Yes, but you have to have a compatible version of lomac. Use ubi.com gaming services for 1.02 since everyone else flies 1.12a.
