Lots and lots of detailed information about the new game, there's tons of info about the flight modelling, a section on LUA Scripting, and even an explanation of how the scenery was made.

The site looks great, and has much more information and depth than the old UBISOFT site.

One thing I've noticed, and perhaps it's understandable, is that the focus of this new game is squarely on Russian aircraft.

quite impressive the work behind Lomac! I'm still astonished!

Addon 1.1 seems very good (even if I don't care about that Frogfoot at all!) and I think it's gonna be a "must" for every Lock On "pilot" Wink

Will they release it in English (at least the downloadable version)?

Great Site!

I know its Russian and all but do you think they have any plans for an English speaking forum? Even if its just another room added to the Russian forums already there; like say “LockOn English”.

Cool. The Su-25T can also carry the SPPU-22 23mm gun pod now.

yeah... they're not the sharpest crew when it comes to names... "lock on" is kinda corny already, but "hot rocks"? what's that supposed to mean? how did they come up with that? was that really the best name they could think of? Smile

Ah well, luckily the name doesn't matter, and they're pretty good at all the other stuff Smile

I'm not so much arguing with the name . . . as the translation.

The best one I've heard so far has been "Flaming Cliffs" . . . . which I think is a rather better way of putting it.

(edit - another good one is the bit where they list a pod as "Phantasmagoria" . . . . for target designation for Kh58 and Kh25MPU, it says)

No large listed improvements to the US aircraft isn't a particular surprise, for obvious reasons . . . but there are some improvements visible from the screenshots they've put out.

This new collision model, damage model and flight model; does it apply to all aircraft?

I really enjoy flying the F-15C, so I hope they made changes to all the aircraft.

I'm glad it's a download because I wouldn't want to be seen carrying that box out of a shop!

Well, maybe an Anne Summers shop, but not a games shop ;-)

looks impressive,

but grrrrrrr,

still no word about an improved AI

Since Flanker series, they should know that they should work more on this part of the game (i m done with stupid, unreliable wingmen)
