hi ya i have had this game for ages now but only been online over the last 6months and have been playing bf2 and fear combat and wanted a change i have patched it but yet to play online it says that it can only be played through hyperlobby which when i go to is all in foreign and dont understand it any help would be great all i want to do is start playing online and making new friends in this game i love my planes and just want to start flying

Hi everyone, I'm new to LOMAC and I came here to find an answer to this question but see that no one has responded to it. I noticed some annoying changes after updating to 1.02 as well, and the link to the readme file mentioned on the download page doesn't work. I patched the game out of the box straight to 1.02 but find that it messed a lot of things up. Some controls just don't work anymore despite being defined properly in the options/input menu, I'm not able to change anything in the options/difficulty menu, when flying one of the quick missions I can only fire the cannon despite having other ammo aboard such as rockets and bombs and selecting them, when I press fire only the cannon works.

So... what gives? Am I doing something wrong? A patch is supposed to fix bugs, not create new ones IMO I just uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. I'm just gonna leave it unpatched until - hopefully - someone can answer my questions and possibly tell me what I've done wrong.

EDIT: okay, nevermind. I patched the fresh install again and it seems to be working properly now. Doing a training mission alters the difficulty settings, after which I'm not able to change them again, but a restart of the game brings my settings right back so it's not that big a deal. The missiles and bombs are working now. Still a pitty of the cockpit mouselook, though. I wonder why they took that out...

obsolum - I assume you have answer to these problems by now. If not then....
v1.02 changed F-15 and A-10 (to be more like the actual aircraft) so SPACEBAR always fores the cannon, ENTER fires all others. Russian jets unchanged.
Mouselook moved from the OPTIONS to be in a config file
Use a text editor such as notepad to open the file .../lockon/config/view/view.lua and change

CockpitMouse = false to be CockpitMouse = true

How do I play on the internet? The game is great but I would like to fight real people. I have LockOn Gold. I click on NWT or something like that and i can't play on the internet.

Hi Everyone, i am completely new to Lock On. I just ordered it today and it will be with me in a few days.

I was just wondering if there were any tips people could give for playing. I'm thinking more performance really. I have a dell xps with dual core 2.8ghz processor, 7900gs card and 2k of ram. what sort of quality will i be able to run?

Also, i understand the game has been out a while and i'm getting the gold edition, is there any patches or updates i need for online play and so on that i can download now?

Finally, if there is any clan interested in having a completely new, motivated, sociable young (well 22) pilot, please let me know.

Hey guys another problem. After I installed a patch 1.02, now the cockpit textures keep disappearing! Whats up with this? Any solutions please?
