It exists, but I'm new, and I don't really go to the site, there's nothing special on it, it just has a roster of the pilots [squad members] and what you need to do to recruit.

On any squadron site the rules for members are quite simple ( and believe me i have seen many of them ).

In any case the homepage is a central part of squadron life,thats where all members meet and where all activities are planned and discussed on the forum.

Its where the squadron announces to the public about their activities and where they recruit new members.

If you don't show up on the forums and if you don't participate in these activities your not to be called a squadron member.

I mean you have been looking for a squad... right? ... you found one ..... right? ... And now you just cant remember their adress ?

I dont by that one

Or do you think it would be dangerous to tell other members of the LockOn
community about the location of this rare 1.02 squadron?

I forgot their address, and our squad home page isn't like how you described, Its just a site that introduces the Squadron, Presents a rosters of the members, Explains the rules of the Squad, and tells you how you can join. No forum, no announcement page, no anything excpet for what I stated above. Honestly, I feel like your challenging me. Please correct me if your not.

Heh.. Sounds like an exciting place.

I wouldn't dream of challenging you because i then would have to take you serious wich im unable to, i'm sad to say.

But maybe there is a discrepancy about what You and i think a Virtual squadron is all about, so let me enlighten you on my view.

In a virtual squadron you meet up with fellow squadmates at times announced on the SQUADRON-HOMEPAGE-FORUMS "wink, wink" typically scheduled 2 or 3 times a week.

There you practice formation flying or refueling from a tanker and you practice take off, landing, flying and fighting, in a 2,3,and finally in a 4 ship formation.

You learn how to work as member of a team, first as a wingman and later as as flight lead and you`ll learn all comunication procedures and different tactics that are involved engaging, fighting and destroying an adversary.

Thats what virtual squadrons (at least those i know) are all about, and i don't think you should be satisfied with anything less.

Yeah thats pretty much what we do, but without the homepage forums. We use E-mail to alert people, kind of like a newsletter thing.
