I'm running Vista 32, SP1.
I'm trying to run flaming cliffs. First I got an error: "Starforce error 1275."
I ran the patch from the Starforce web site, and got this error: "Application requested runtime to terminate in unusual way." And the program exited to desktop.

If you are running Vista 32 bit- you MUST run EVERYTHING "as administrator" PERIOD. No exceptions.

Lock on
Stick profiling software like Saitek SST, Foxy, & CH manager
Track IR profiling software
Hyperlobby
Teamspeak
Ventrilo

Right click the desktop icon
select properties
check the run as admin box

It's also not a bad idea to choose "xp service pack 2" for the compatibility mode.

I ran the program as system administrator, and got the "Starforce error 1275."
I will consider upgrading the service pack, but right now it will be only for this one program, and I'm not sure about it.
