Quick knee-jerk review: Replaced my Track IR 2 Pro about 2 weeks ago. I am now using a Track Ir 5. I also ordered the track clip pro. First off- I had to put away the track clip pro. My headset is one of those behind-the-head types, so I cannot attach it. It's construction seems very "delicate." I wonder if making it wireless & battery operated would have been better. See- your headset cord and the track clip Pro cord don't neccesarily follow the same path to your computer, so not everyone can lash all that stuff together and keep it out of the way. Anyway.. I can't grade it's function, so I'll hang on to it. If I replace this headset, I'll break it out and try it again. The hat visor trackclip is fine, if not fashionable.

Otherwise- it is a huge improvement over the track 2. Mine seemed to be struggling to track at times- losing the dot, etc. This one is not easily upset by other light sources in the room, smoother, and much more accurate.

I had the Z axis on at first... meh... :-/ I ended up turning it off. Maybe I need to get used to it. I've been using a HAT on my CH gear for zoom, and I definitely preferred that to the track's Z axis.

I continue to be amazed that how much image tearing I have. Most noticeable in the canopy frame. Between this top line unit, and my reasonably state of the art rig- I must say- this is pathetic. Is it the graphics engine- said to be derived from prehistoric cave paintings in southern France? Is it GPU settings? I have 4890's in X-fire for god's sake.. Nothing seems to help it so far.. Is it my monitor? A 5ms response Samsung... What gives.. Angry Blue Guy

Turn on vertical sync in your vid card drivers. Contrary to popular belief you will not see lower framerates on the low side. I've done tons of testing and it's vert sync.

I'm a PC gamer. Any comments I make that don't specifically state a platform you can bet I'm referring to PC.
