Hello,
I don't know if this is a problem from my sound card or something else. But the issue I get is that when I play Splinter Cell CT whether online or offline the sound of the shot gun/rifle does not sound like a gun. It just sounds as if I pressed the button of a lighter. This seems very unrealistic. I play Call of Duty 4 and Crysis and I don't have this issue. The sound from the gun is very realistic. It sounds like a proper gun. But why is it that with Chaos Theory I have this problem? I don't owe any other Splinter Cell game so I haven't got a clue. Can anyone tell me if this is normal or am I having something wrong with my PC? By the way, I tried connecting via HDMI cable from my graphics card as well as my normal Realtek HD Audio sound card and its still the same. All other sounds seem to work. Thanks. |

You could try reinstalling the game. some times that fixes some of the problems.Or you could just try and be a uber spy and not shoot your gun.

The guns that Sam has have suppressors on them, suppressing the flame and reducing noise of the gun. This creates a weird sound... so there's probably nothing wrong, it's supposed to sound that way
