PROBLEM WAS POSTED IN GERMAN "SOLUTION CENTER" BEFORE (4 weeks ago, no solution)

Everytime I try to start SCDA Multiplayer with patch 1.02, Securom means "Wrong Disc". I sent a scan of my DVD to SecoROM => This DVD from Ubisoft is not SecoROM Protected, the patch is! So what can i do?

German Forums are down (=> Startpage reloads itself => HTTP Request too lang after 1 minute)

Ubi just forgot to burn this DVD with SecuROM sign. The support told me 2 weeks ago, that a patch will come. ("It's in validation process right now.")

They wanted to finish it 3 weeks ago ;-)

Few days ago UBI released patch 1.02a available here:

maybe it will fix your problem.

BTW: does anybody know what exactly this patch fixes? So far I couldn't find any info about it.

It should be in the patch notes when you install it.

Ok. Does it remove the protection completely, or add it?

If it removes it, then I wonder if it's the same as the "no-dvd" fix they released for Vegas 2?

(The Vegas 2 one was a rerelease of a hacker's no-dvd hack)

The SCDA_Online.exe file is smaller in patch 1.02a so they rather removed the protection.

I can confirm that it removes the single player disc check also.

I just installed DA and applied the 1.02a patch, and it runs fine without the disc.

Now if only they would do that for SCCT for those of us on Vista.
