You'd probably receive a better answer in the SC Legacy [PC] forum, but I'll take a shot at it here.
The usual culprit are the video drivers being 'too current', which doesn't make much sense but is true. Try finding the oldest video drivers for your video chip and installing them. You can always 'roll back' to your current ones if that doesn't work. Other problems have arisen with running the games on a laptop, especially with the 'mobile graphics chips'. |

hmm, i got that trilogy box set too and all 3 games work great on my xp system. Try and mess around with the different drivers and what not.

Latops in general aren't good for gameing, but being an old game I'd imagine it would run well on a newer laptop. Look for the games "Default.ini" file and see if adding/changing this line helps.
"AlternateTimer=False" to "AlternateTimer=True" or if its true make it false. If its not there at all try adding it as True then False. |

Yup, my guess is it's cause it's a portable video card, or it's something to do with being a 7xxx series card. I think there's something fishy about them. Best luck will be to try older drivers, or even www.omegadrivers.net
