hello i need help. I just installed splinter cell: pandora tommorrow for pc. Well i inserted disc one into the drive, it said insert disc 3. What is the point of disc 1 and 2 then? So, i make an account, and everything, i click on my name, and I was hoping the game would start. But it didn't it just exited and here i am at my desktop. Can someone help me? I have Windows xp, the installation was succesful. So what is going on?
So you put in the first disc, clicked on "Install" and after that disc was done it asked for Disc 3, not Disc 2? Had you previously installed the game? If not, I would uninstall it and try again. Disc 3 is the play disc- if you clicked on "Play" that may be why it asked for that one. You need to have all three discs installed before it will work.

Disks 1 and 2 carry the files that are copied over. Disk 3 has the copy-protection files needed to run the game, simple as that :P
As for the running problem: I had the same at the start, in WinXP you might have to set Compatibility to WinNT for the game to work. Strangely, it depends on the comp, not the XP or whatever service packs and/or patches you have installed. At least on all the comps I've tried it at, it was so (or maybe it's just my copy of SCPT acting up again). Funnily enough, the demo works well on all the comps that require you to set the Compatibility Mode for the full version >.<
I got 4 discs (I live in Denmark, Europe) but i'm not realy sure what the 4th disc contains, think it is Punkbuster though. I install with all 4 discs and play with the third. Except for one time where i didnt install punkbuster, then i didn't need the 4th disc. Remember, if you install any patches, install the right one. There is a Europe/Asian one, and a US one. The game will not accept your CD if you install the wrong patch.
Mech, if it never asked for disc 2, the installation was NOT successful. That much is certain. It sorta sounds like either: you installed it previously and wiped it, but the game is still listed in your registry, or you have a haxd copy and well I'm sure you don't want to talk about it.

Yup cd 4 contains PB since i also didnt needed the 4th cd when i didnt installed PB on my other pc
Anyone who has installed and uninstalled this game as much as I have will know that the order of disc installation goes like this:
Install disc 1 - when complete, install disc 2. Upon completion of disc 2, install disc 3. Final installation will revert back to installing disc 1 (don't ask me why). Then when all 4 installation processes are complete, you play with disc 3. By the way, I am talking about the 3 disc set of Pandora Tomorrow, not the 4 disc set that some of the other posts have mentioned. This 3 disc set requires a 4 process installation before you can use disc 3 to play.
hi I have a 4disc game. I install disc 1, it asks for disc 2 containing cab.3, nothing, so I copied cab 3, still nothing. Have given up until E can find someone who can help MD just loaded on hard drive instead of external drive and it's loaded, but would have preferred external, any hints?
