I'm back to my great love , but yesterday I wanted to play SvM and saw all new maps like Museum 1vs1, Hard jump 5.1 .... Is there a link where the new maps can be downloaded (not the Mr. mic pack 5, already have that) and what about comptability with Vista if I want a new pc?? Heard things like flashlight wouldn't work with merc on Vista??? Great tnx already for help

Chaos theory update the star force patch and then it will work for vista , as for different maps

Hardjump is for noobs , but in terms of splintercell online.net i dunno whats happened but there isn't maps you can download anymore seperatly that is

and the flashlight doesn't work that well on Nvidia cards cause chaos theory is a direct X 10 game and they dont support dynamic lighting

how ever if you do want a chance of a flashlight then i suggest you going with ATI , it will be red how ever ..

Newbie is a newcomer, beginner, the person who just started something (e.g. playing CT)

Noob is not a newcomer nor a begginer, noob is a person who played the game for quite some time and is still not very good at it, almost as a begginer. But, the thing is, for someone to 'officialy' be a noob the person's skill doesn't matter so much as the attitude. Rude players who think they are good but they suck, are noobs.

Hmm, alrighty then...

First: Chaos Theory is a DX9.0c game... Maybe they've released an update to run it in DX10 mode, but by default it's DX9.0c.

Second: Since when doesn't DX10 support dynamic lighting? Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm not infallible), but I thought it only doesn't work if your using FSAA, but apart from that it's fine I thought.

Thirdly: From what I remember on the XBOX the merc's flashlight was red, and ATi have been the runners up to nvidia for a long time... You just didn't try with updated drivers did you? Did you let windows update install your graphics drivers???...
