Hi...

I just bought Rainbow six vegas and god..there's nobody playing online?!?
There's few people playing co-op but I would like to play Team death match.

Everyone's playing RV2 or I dont have the good update or something.Please help me a little,im confused.

people r still playing, however because the servers r still sh@# and we get crashed off servers so much, everyone is kinda saying F-It
plus, alot depends on what time you log in?
I work second shift, so when i play its pretty empty (3-6am c.time) anyway, keep trying! and a good idea is to be sure you have all updates,maps,and the blur mod makes the game way better! otherwise its like shooting in the fog have fun

I bet you feel like you've wasted your money eh? When it works it's ace, unfortunately it doesn't work most of the time... Have a read through these forums and you'll find many different problems, none of which have been fixed by ubi.

I would be hosting servers most days and some nights, but the chances of actually being able to get this unfinnished POS to work online seem to be getting slimmer and slimmer...

Ubi are apparently fazing out their RSV servers to force people to buy RSV2. Don't even bother to argue Ubi - I'm simply making an observation, RSV2 sales have been lower than expected, many people have returned the game to the shop within a few days of buying it, so second hand sales started almost straight away. RSV1 servers have become even more unplayable than they were before... Why? because you can't be bothered supporting it anymore by the looks of things... Oh wait... You weren't anyway...

I installed farcry for the first time in about 3years...

Farcry is 5 or 6 years old?

There's more people playing farcry than I've ever seen playing vegas... Just goes to show that if it works people will keep playing it...

I still play vegas1 online (ps3), never had a real problem finding a team sharpshoot or team survival game...theres usually at least 1 room lol.
Most people still only play LVU or Calypso maps ..so try those.

Connection wise it still seems ok, a few rooms are laggy..but no worse than it ever was, mostly caused by hosts with poor net connections.

Im racing to try and get to elite (the fun way -- i.e playing ss/survival lol) before vegas1 dies for ever!

Irrelevant... we're talking about the PC version. The console versions don't connect to ubish*te servers...

but maybe it would help idiots like me if posters can STATE WHAT SYSTEM THEY ARE REFERING TOO...as I try not to use my psychic powers during the day lol.

But anyway, the ps3 r6v1 online is doing ok. shame to hear the pc version isnt
