I successfully installed this game 3 times to F:\Myst V. Keep in mind, I have 5 hard drives attached to my PC and the main C: drive is only 5GB and is used exclusively for Windows XP. There is no room there for me to install the game to the default location (probably somewhere in the C:\Program Files\Myst V or something like that). So, my game is installed to my game installation drive on F:. The problem is, there was never a folder created for saves. The game will not save, I cannot take pictures, I cannot use the journal. None of my output locations are working.

What do I have to do to get my game working? I know there has to be a spot for the pictures and journal entries and autosaves to go, but there isn't, I swear it. Please help ASAP!

Every time I start up the game, I am standing in front of a blue pedestal inside a bubble and when I exit, a man talks to me. Every time I click to go to the Main Menu, an intro video that I cannot skip gets played, then I am in a round room with a book called Myst that I cannot open. This seems to be the beginning of the game where you get the camera and journal. I am not given the choice to actually start the game. Also, once I pick up the camera and journal, I cannot take pictures and anything I write in the journal is deleted the moment I close it. The game does not autosave, so every time I turn it on, I have to wait for it to load the wrong spot, then watch the intro video, then start the game from scratch. I cannot play this game like this. I need my camera and some saves.

Under Win XP, game saves are in \Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Myst V End of Ages\Sav\Store.

If you don't have those folders, you'll need to create them.
