Mr. Heimdall, I don't know you, and I certainly haven't read all your hints and tips on these forums BUT... you obivously know a lot about computers, and thanks to that knowledge I've finally installed Myst V on my husbands pc. We couldn't get it right but now I have, after deleting the vpd.properties file. Thanks again, mr. Heimdall. Now both the persons in this household can play Myst V (although not at the same time, of course
