Even after drawing the icon for Taghira, I can't ever get the Bahro to take the slate to the right place.

The Bahro looks at the slate and then disappears. I can pick up the slate, but no action follows. If I leave the slate, it ends up at the original pedestal.

Welcome to the forums.

Question: Where exactly are you experiencing a problem ?

I am not too certain about what you talking about. There is no "Taghira" symbol as such that you need to draw. The other symbols have other different names/descriptions.

1- If you are in Derebo, you just pick up the slate and link to Taghira. No drawing necessary.

2- Once in in Taghira, there are 4 symbols you will need to draw. One for the ladder. Once the slate is taken up by the Bahro, you pick it up and go on with your journey.

3- The next one is on the way to a hut.

4- The next on is used for the frozen lake, (time limited puzzle)

5- The last one will link you to the Taghira Keep.

Generally speaking: If a Bahro put back a slate on a pedestal, it is because he did not understand/like/approved of you drawing but first check the pedestal to see if the Bahro has added a new linking symbol.

Btw, you need to be at a safe distance away from the Bahro for him to do his job.

It is the last symbol to get to the Taghira Keep. The Bahro picks up the tablet and then puts it back on the ground. Sometimes he takes it back to the pedestal where I linked into Taghira. I have drawn the symbol at least 10 times. How far away is a safe distance?

The last (Keep) symbol can be hard to see, depending on your monitor settings, since it displays almost as "white on white". Some of the lines are easy to miss.

Are you certain you're drawing the symbol correctly? Some symbols are much trickier than others in regard to where you locate them on the slate and exactly how you draw them.

For this symbol, horizontal lines must be drawn as close to horizontal as possible, not slanted, and vertical lines must be drawn vertical. All line lengths must be drawn as close to those of the original image as possible. This can be difficult if your mouse isn't the best and your hand isn't the steadiest. I ended up making a sketch, taking screen measurements of the image using a ruler, and then drawing using those measurements and moving my mouse *very* slowly.

Overall, the symbol resembles a stack of two button-type watch batteries, with their negative sides facing down. From the top down, it's composed of
-- A large rectangle.
-- Two vertical lines, about half the length of the short sides of the rectangle, extending from the bottom of this rectangle to the top of:
-- A second rectangle, the same height as the top one, but a bit larger horizontally.
-- Two vertical lines extending downward from the bottom of the second rectangle, aligned with and the same lengths as the top two vertical lines.
-- A horizontal line connecting the bottom ends of these lower two vertical lines.

The symbol is centered horizontally and vertically in the drawing area of the slate.

With all of that said:

Thank you so much! After seeing your drawing, I realized I was drawing my rectangles from one side of the slate to the other. When I shortened them up - it worked right away. Thanks for saving me from frustration.
