1. Installed Myst V on Vista SP2. Did not work so tried the fixes in this forum. Was able to play the intro video; then the black screen with cursor came on.

2. Ran MYST V detection tool: It said my graphics card and directx were wrong. I have ATI card but it shows up as AMD 760. Does that make a difference? Also tried to reinstall Directx 9 but it wouldn't take. I have ver "10".

3. Thought I would reinstall Myst V and start from the beginning (I had played on old Windows XP computer up to the last "Age".) but I'm getting a java error. Won't let me uninstall, even in control panel add/remove programs.

Anyone have any ideas?
