If anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it. I installed Myst V in vista on my laptop but it won't play. I get a "Main Branch - built 7/15/05 has stopped working" error messege.

I tried everything but no luck.

Please help

Wow, you got it to wrk on your laptop?
I have vista on my PC and all i get is a lil box saying " O.S. Not supported "

Questions:

1. What's the exact error message you get?

2. Do you get the error message when you try to install EoA, or when you try to play the game?

I had a different error than the person above but i do have a problem. I am running vista on a laptop and i get the error:

My resolution is set to 800x600 I have the most up to date video driver. I did successfully install the game but when I click "play" it displays this error. I have never been able to play the game.

Did you try steps 3 and 4 under Access Violation/Stack Error in Myst V: Main Branch and Access Violation/Stack Error Fixes With Win XP?

Is there any way to play eoa on vista? I got the game a couple years ago, thought I wouldn't mind restarting it.

Well thats for Win XP... NOT [EDITED] VISTA!!! im getting that same "Denied Access" [EDITED] too. What should i do?
