I have tried several times to load Myst V without success. I have tried the clean boot install, reinstall. The closest I got to success was to do a xcopy /r /v to E:\ and then load to D:\. The game loaded with the the sound decompression incomplete. Some time Yesha would talk sometimes not. Here is a copy of my dxdiag. I’ll be looking forward to some suggestions.

Did you follow the procedure detailed in Myst V: Clean Boot Install/Re-install With Win XP carefully and exactly?

For example, the "Even if you get a "Finished" message from the install Wizard, wait for all hard disk activity to stop - then and only then close the Wizard...." step is intended to ensure that installation is complete, especially the sound file decompression process. Did you wait?

If you did follow the clean boot re-install procedure, why did you try to install to your E: drive and then Xcopy to D:? What problems made you try Xcopy? Did you get error messages during the clean boot re-install procedure, and if so, *exactly* what were they?

Please post all the details you can!
