Hi ho..

Small problem but could have been prevented , can some one confirm that the only place that saved game files go is in My Documents ?

is theuir any where else they go becuase I formatted my c: but my game is on d:

So I guess my wife has to start game all over again or ?

If My Documents is the only place is it possible that some one can send me a saved game file so she doesnt have to start over ?

Im unsure how the saved game file system works in this game so Im unsure how big or how much trouble it is starting from a saved file from another source..

Under Win XP, game saves are in \Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Myst V End of Ages\Sav\Store.

You can save during the game by clicking on the camera, the shiny blue sphere in the upper right corner of the screen. Then, you can go back to the place where you did a save by clicking on the rust-red book next to the camera and selecting a save.

The game is also automatically saved when you exit.

ok, so a format doesnt help :-s

oh well unless some one has some saved game files then she will have to start again..
