I am trying to find Myst V for a friends birthday. Anyway in the description for the only one that I can find says its for Mac. This is the Limited Collectors Edition. So do all Mac versions work on XP as well?

I've seen at least one of the versions of Myst V is Mac/PC compatible, but is this one?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Without lots more information on exactly what you're looking at, I can't tell you for certain whether it'll work with Win XP or not.

Here's what I do know:

Myst V has been released on both CD and DVD in the US.
-- The Limited Edition has been released on DVD, for both PC and Mac.
-- The Standard Edition has been released on CD, officially for PC only. (The Standard Edition can be made to run on the Mac. See PC version WILL run on Mac.)

The European Standard Edition and Collector's Edition are both on DVD only.

There's apparently some Limited Edition packaging out there in the bushes that says the game is for Mac only. Not necessarily! If it's Myst V and it's on a DVD, it's a hybrid disk that will work with either Mac or PC.
