I have tried everything to get java/myst to work for me. Nothing seems to do the trick.

I am not going back to sp1 just so i can run this game. My question to you is there going to be a patch, or some kind of fix in the near future?

Darkensky00, following from Jenneth's response quoted in my previous post, it may not be an SP2 problem at all.

Would you try and borrow another disk? From a response I've had from elsewhere there could be a batch of faulty disks.
