Thanks to all for reading and helping with this problem of mine. This game does not play in a maximized window for me. When the game starts, the Windows Start Menu, and the Close, Maximize, File Menu toolbars can be seen overlapping my Game Screen. The game cursor will not change to the windows mouse cursor for me to maximize the window using the toolbar. I also tried hitting Ctrl + Spacebar + X to manually maximize the window, which also failed. Any Myst fan knows that this Windows Menu overlap would ruin the game screen environment for them as much as it's doing for me. Please help me fix this problem!

Correction: I used Alt + Spacebar + X to try and manually maximize the screen unsuccessfully. I had also forgotten to mention that I tried using the windows start key on my keyboard to get access to the windows pane layer that is covering my myst game and then tried to click the maximize the screen, unsuccessfully once again. Are other people running this game with the Windows Start Menu bar always visible?

Alt + Spacebar and click in the drop-down menu will work with EoA only if you Alt + Tab out of the game first. (To be able to Alt + Tab out of EoA, you must have some other program open in the background.)

Try the following:
-- a. Start EoA.
-- b. Click on OPTIONS and then click on the VIDEO tab (if necessary).
----- 1. Click on the Recommended Only box to uncheck it.
----- 2. Set Video Resolution at 800x600.
----- 3. Click on the Windowed box to uncheck it.
-- c. Click on OK.
