the game appears to be loading my save from the demo. i uninstalled the demo before install the full version but it seems to be loading save from my demo game some how. i go to "main menu" and i am shown the intro and then put in dni which i assume is where i'm suppose to start. but even after i get the camera, if i quit of the game and re-enter i end up back in the demo area. help!!

browsing around the forum i found where the save files are kept. but all i found was Local Settings\Application Data\Myst V Demo which i deleted. i opened up the game again and was once again in the demo area. i exited out and found that the folder had recreated itself. i have tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it and have still had no luck.

Did you uninstall the demo before installing the game? If not, try uninstalling it now (and reinstalling the game afterwards). It's possible that the two don't like being installed simultaneously.

the demo was removed before i tried installing the full version. when i first had the problem i uninstalled the full version and then searched my computer(files/folders and registry) for any trace of the demo or full version. after those were all gone i reinstalled the full version and had the same problem.

I have the exact same problem. I've gone through my whole system looking for demo related content to delete, then I reinstall the game and have the same issue. HELP US CYAN!
