No expert here; wait for Heimdall G to reply and you will get excellent help. However in the meantime, is your DVD clean and free of scratches? You could try cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab, just to eliminate the possibility that your DVD drive is having trouble reading the disc.

Heimdall G will probably request that you post a DX Diag(nostic) report here in this thread. (If you know how to do that, post the entire thing, although it will be quite long. Unfortunately I'm a Mac person, and have no idea how to instruct you to do that.)

Yes, if you don't have a video card (i.e., your video chipset is integrated on the motherboard), and if it's not an Intel video chipset or not an Intel chipset supported by Myst V, that could be the cause of the error. Or maybe it's a video driver problem. In any event, yes, please do post a DxDiag report in this thread. See Posting Guidelines and Myst V System Requirements under POSTING GUIDELINES, To post a DxDiag report for a how-to. Run all of the graphics and sound tests you can before saving the report to a file, and post *all* of the file. If the manufacturer and exact model number of your PC aren't shown under 'System Information' (System Manufacturer and System Model) at the top of the report, also include that information in your post. Or, if you built your system or it was put together locally for you, include the manufacturer and exact model number of your motherboard.
