I can't tell you how disappointed I am every time this problem comes up knowing how simple it would be to fix while programming a game!

Is there any way/any thing I can edit or change in any fashion so as to reverse the mouse Y-axis (camera up-down) sense of this otherwise really cool game I am looking forward to playing?

I must be the only one who flies aircraft or Cyan Worlds remains dense toward simple gaming needs?

Thank you and I really really hope I have missed something to resolve this inconvenience.

I just talked to the operator at Cyan Worlds who talked to someone who said that this has to be addressed to Ubisoft... That's disappointing as Ubisoft is the Publisher and not the Developer...but that is where I will go next.

Well...this is the end of it this time.

I talked to both Ubisoft and Cyan Worlds again.

First off Cyan Worlds said they have not closed and are not planning on closing but the operator I talked to may or may not actually know what is/was going on.

Secondly, if any of you reading this are bothered by this y-axis reverse sense option issue you need to call, write, or email Ubisoft at a minimum and voice that you want to see the option added to Myst V and all future games as a standard. If I'm the only one raising the stink you can be darn sure no one is going to do anything about the problem--both Cyan Worlds and Ubisoft told me this over and over again.

There is some simple programming that should be standardized and available on all games. I just finished Far Cry: Instincts (well...I couldn't finish the end game but...) and you could not turn the blaring music down without also turning down voice and background sound.

1. Option to reverse the y-axis camera up-down sense.

2. Option to turn down music without affecting voice and background sound--separate controls.

PLEASE get this y-axis problem out so we can get it fixed and it won't be a problem any more. Of course, that is if you care.

Thank you.

Since Ubisoft employees apparently don't visit these Forums, you'll need to contact the company directly if you want to get anything done.

Here are some options for contacting Ubisoft:

-- Group worldwide office addresses and phone numbers
-- Group worldwide press contacts, with names and Email addresses

Call Ubisoft Technical Support at (919) 460-9778 in the US or look for an International Technical Support phone number.

Send a support request/question to a Technical Support Representative using 'Ask a Question'.
-- Click on the Ubisoft Solution Center's Ask a Question tab.
-- Log in and submit your report via Ask a Question.

I agree. No y-axis reversal sux, big time. I'm with you man, dang agrivating. I can't believe we are the ONLY 2 on these forums who play games with mouse reversed.

This is the ONLY game I have EVER played with no "reverse mouse" check box, how rediculous!

You're not the only 2 people who want a Y-axis option. In fact I was so surprised and disappointed that I will be returning the game as defective (if they take it back).

Call me stubborn, but I simply can't play games with a standard Y-axis mouse. And I was never a flight sim addict. I developed my Y-axis need from games like Quake.
