Okay, I bought my copy of Myst V off of the Digital Store, but when I try to run the game once it's installed it says my account doesn't have the license. I've looked over all the help files and nothing seems to help. Something I noticed though is that the game wants me to login to Direct2Drive, instead of digital download.

Welcome to the Forums!
Questions, assuming you're talking about the Ubisoft Digital Store: 1. What's the *exact* wording of each of the error messages you get, including error numbers if any? 2. Have you gone to the Digital Download Support Center to look through the Knowledge Base and use the Troubleshooter (starting here)? Heimdall Semper ubi sub ubi |

The error message is "User does not qualify for a license." I didn't see anything immediately helpful in the troublshooting guide, I kept my antivirus, popup blockers and firewall down. I'm curious though as to why it asks me for a gamespy login instead of my digital download login.

From "I get a license error; Exceeded the limit of 5, not in an authorized Country or that I am not eligible or do not qualify?":
"If your error states you are not eligible and you are positive you are, please check the following: "¢ That you are logged in to the account on which you purchased the game. "¢ That your Profile has all the proper fields filled in. If your birth date or Country are missing, please make adjustments. To edit your account, please visit the Digital Download site login and click update profile. Make your changes (you will need to re-enter your password) and click Save & Finish." Have you done that? Also, if EoA wants a GameSpy login, try setting up a GameSpy account. Heimdall Semper ubi sub ubi |

My information on my Gamespy account was already setup, but I added my address which was the only missing piece of information, it didn't help.

My only other suggestion is to download EoA again (NOT using a download accelerator or download helper utility), uninstall EoA, reboot, and then re-install with the new download.
This is why, unless I really...really...REALLY want a game and there's absolutely no other way to get it, I will *not* download it. If you had the boxed version of EoA, you wouldn't be posting here! Heimdall Semper ubi sub ubi |
