Hi there!

I'm in the first room. I can pick up the book by clicking on it, but when I click on the door handle nothing happens. I get the open hand when I hover the cursor over the handle, but clicking has no effect.

Do I have to wait for an earth tremor to open it or click lots of time, pick the book, do things in a special order or something ?

Not a great start, lol!

I've tried all the navigation modes (classic mouse-click, classic-plus and free move advanced) but that mkaes no difference. I have the PC/Mac DVD european version running on XP with Direct/X 9c. I couldn't find any patches so none applied.

Any ideas anyone ?

Welcome to the forums. To open the door, you can't just click on it. You have to click and drag it just like you would with any door handle. Hope that helps.
