Alright. Here's the deal:
I went right through Todelmer without using ANY of the symbols you find there. Plus, I didn't even go through a number of places in Todelmer.I managed to get the cables out of my way and find one set of symbols through the telescope. I fiddled around for a while and then I just started throwing down symbols I had found in Noloben. Eventually a new symbol appeared on the pedestal... I touched it and was in the Keep, then I "linked" out of the keep after Esher talked to me... Apparently I beat Todelmer, but I was completely screwed out of having any fun at all. I can't touch, or take off any more new Todelmer slates and therefore couldn't even make use of the symbols I never had the pleasure of finding. (I learned about the Todelmer symbols by biting the bullet and looking at an online walkthrough).
WHAT is going on here??

Are you playing EoA as installed from the DVD, or did you download it? And are you running Vista?

I beleive that remacaulay has encountered a known bug in the game when drawing a wrong symbol on the slate.
