Hello, I have gone right through Myst V and am at my last Age, Laki'ahn. I have gone through and out the maze, found the cave and noted keep sign on flag after wind. Then have gone back to linking bubble via the pedestal by the closed door outside the maze, and drawn the keep sign on the slate. The Bahro comes and takes the slate and when I re-enter the bubble, no matter how long I wait the sign does not appear on the pedestal. Have I missed something?

Maybe the Bahro did not like your drawing.

If you saw the Bahro scratching his head, he would not have taken the slate at all. Did you walk all the way around the pedestal to make sure your slate is not there? If it isn't, I would link back to the original Laki'ahn pedestal in front of the Trade building and see if it is there.
