Look for where some arrows pop up. It should say "Struggle" in some arrow-direction. Hit that key rapidly until it stops saying struggle. After that you'll have to tap another key ONE TIME.

You can't be watching what beowulf is doing; yeah it sucks. Look for the arrows.

I still don't see any arrows. Sometimes I can see a counterclockwise arrow when he is engaged with the monster but no survival

This is the dumbest thing.I've caught up with Brecca, fought the crabs and now have been fighting the serpents for over 30 min. with neither one gaining an advantage.

im playing on pc and i can get the first green bar off by right mouse punching the serpent and i can grab and struggle but im not sure if im pressing the right arrow fast enough or if im to hold it or if im supposed to finish with what? key.

very frustrating -- i notice by color of rocks there are safe zones from serpent tails on island.
im frustrated to - playing with a 128 video laptop . not sure if its low resources or bad combos on my part

Holding grab-button (F) then comes a cross with arrows and Right Arrow highlighted
Now what ?
Do I have to hold grab-button and press Right arrow on keyboard or on NumLock ?

There is simply always the same. The Snake Life-scale is left a tiny bit of red, then it goes back to water and Life-scale increased a bit
