Hi everyone,
Has anyone found a solution to the lagging whenever you are near water or on the boat? It is really annoying me because when I try to do the command interface thing on the boat the speed isn't constant and therefore impossible to do!

specs: AMD Turion64 X2 Dual Core processor @2.1GHz
Geforce 8400M G and 3GB DDR2 RAM

Get yourself a better graphics card mate, the 8400 cards are LOW budget crappy POS's... If you must have an 8xxx series card don't get anything below the 8800... But if you're short on cash, revert to the 7xxx series...

Personally I use 7900GS 256mb, performs better than the 8400, 8500, 8600 256/512mb GS/GT... OK, I don't have a DX10 graphics card, but one of my 7900's will blow most 8000 series cards out of the water...

I actually owned a 512mb 8600GT - it was sh*tty compared to the old AGP 256mb 7300GT in my girlfriends system... GF7900GS FTW!!!

I bought a 2nd 7900 and SLI'd... with 4gb at 864Mhz, AMD Athlon X2 5600+ @ 3Ghz, on a foxconn board... I NEVER get framerate issues... even on the most intensive games...
